Post 8: A Subject I Enjoyed This Semester.

If you remember my previous blogs, you know that I study social work. So, today we will talk about a subject I enjoyed this semester, without doubt, this is social policies. 

Every Friday we have a class of social policies. These classes are mainly expositive, but we can do questions when we want. Also we must read articles of social policies in Latin America, citizen participation, social protection, workers of socials, regimens of well-being. We talk mainly about social policies in Latin America, approach of public policy and different models of development. I enjoy and like so much this subject because is really interesting know and analyze how social policies work and how decisions in social policies affect to people directly and indirectly. I like because is easy contrast with examples of daily life. This subject is fundamental for social work, because this subject learn how identify the processes of construction of public agenda and their configuration in policies and social programs. In addition to, it allows us develop competencies for the analysis of social policies from different approaches and it allows us identify and analyze critically topics of social policy present in the current agenda of the country.
